Why..

Women empowerment is not just about equality; it is about creating opportunities, safety, and dignity for half of our society. In India, women still face issues like limited access to education, economic dependence, workplace inequality, and social restrictions. These barriers prevent them from realizing their true potential. Empowering women means addressing these challenges through education, skill development, financial independence, and creating safe spaces. It also requires changing social mindsets and ensuring equal rights in every sphere of life. When government, NGOs, and communities work together, women can rise as leaders, entrepreneurs, and changemakers. A truly empowered woman uplifts not just herself, but her entire family and community.

What we do

At OSA, women empowerment is a key focus area where we work to build confidence and opportunities for women. Through Self-Help Group (SHG) support, we help women organize, save, and access resources for better livelihoods. We conduct empowerment events that spread awareness, boost confidence, and create platforms for women’s voices to be heard. Along with this, our enterprise development initiatives encourage women to start small businesses, gain financial independence, and contribute to society as equal partners in progress.
