Immediate Shelter
Homeless and helpless individuals are shifted into safe spaces.
Every individual deserves dignity, care, and a safe place to rest. Yet, across our society, countless people continue to struggle for basic shelter—sleeping on roadsides, outside hospitals, and in unsafe public spaces. Many of them are patients who have traveled from distant villages for treatment, elderly people without caregivers, or vulnerable individuals with no permanent home. Recognizing this urgent need, Online Service Association (OSA) launched a dedicated initiative called Seva Aashray.
Seva Aashray is a humanitarian program that provides shelter and care to homeless and helpless individuals. Through this program, we identify people who are left without support—whether they are patients who come from rural areas for medical treatment, abandoned elderly individuals, or those who have no place to stay—and help them move into safe and reliable shelter homes.
We work in close coordination with government shelter homes, Rain Basera centers, and community-based shelters, ensuring that these facilities, many of which often remain underutilized, are effectively used to serve the people who need them the most.
Despite the availability of government-supported shelter homes, many remain empty due to lack of awareness, proper systems, and timely outreach. Vulnerable individuals continue to live in dangerous and unhealthy conditions on the streets. Seva Aashray bridges this gap.
Our intervention ensures:
Homeless and helpless individuals are shifted into safe spaces.
Access to food, sanitation, and basic care.
Patients and sick individuals are kept in a hygienic environment for better recovery.
Raising the issue of underutilized government shelters and ensuring they serve their real purpose.
